Bit Shift

HashBit hails from Stable 45 where scientific experimentationwhich was unrestricteddesigned to have two major sections; one residential like a normal Stable, and unregulated,one that was entirely state of the art laboratories. Mixed into the general population were many of Equestria's brightest, given free reign to pursue whatever research they wished within the Stable with little to no oversight. Over time, the experiments and research being conducted grew more and more unsavory for the general populace, leading to conflictrising betweentensions and conflict. To stem the scientistsimpending danger that the Overmare might put a stop to their activities, which had by this point progressed to foalnapping dwellers for experimentation, a group of biologists and Stablecyberneticists management.dug Eventually,up the scientistsschematics wantedfor the Cyberdog and planned on using the same tech on the residents, thereby creating a small army to takeoverthrow the Overmare and establish total control over the StableStable. toBit, havea freepony reignspecializing overin the residents for increasingly unethical experimentation, leading to the startmaintenance of the K-9Stable's Project.computerized This project aimed to mind control select ponies for the purpose of creating an obedient army that the scientists could exploit in their conquest of the Stable. Hashsystems, was one of the unlucky few to be selected to beginfor the project,procedure.

The chosen ponies were knocked out and had a dome installed onto his head to achieve total domination over his brain. Fortunately for him, the scientists were distracted by tensions with Stable security, and the so-called Brainponies escaped the Stable. Hash now wanders alone in the wastes, having been separated from the group duetaken to the intensityoperating table to have the signature domes installed and enchanted. Thankfully, before they could finalize and activate the mind control spells the ponies broke free and fled, with Bit stealing a beam pistol from one of the newscientists. worldFearing above-ground.they'd eventually be recaptured and forced to serve the scientists, they left the Stable and dispersed across the Wastes. 

Appearance

Blue Unicorn with a scarlet tail, magic, and eyes, andbut no mane. His brain, like most ponies,brain matches his coat color. He wears his Stable Suit and a Pipbuck on his left foreleg, and is often seen carrying a beam pistol.

Personality

Hash is a bit timid in this new world and is especially wary of anypony trying to get at his brain after the forced experiment on him. He is slowly warming to the idea of brainplay, however.
